To me editing is about creating moments. What I really love about the work is the collaboration and how different viewpoints & life experiences inform those ideas. And then how to negotiate all of that.

For me filmmaking & editing is all about ideas. Lots of them. Some of the best ones are so ludicrous they must be considered. As do the simple ideas which skittle the other 20 problems you’ve been having getting something to work. A good idea can come from anywhere. So can a bad one. I love talking them through. It needs to be fierce & bold sometimes even.  

I use to have a long blurb here about lots of things / all the quality people I’ve worked with, and what got created and so on. I thought I’d simplify:

Ultimately as an editor I like to work with good people and take risks. Many of them.

I came to Europe to work on whatever is interesting.
